A native of Western New York, Dr. Pancio received his undergraduate and medical school degree from the University of Buffalo in Buffalo, New York. He then completed his orthopedic residency training at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota (perennially ranked the #1 hospital in the United States) – one of the most prestigious orthopedic residency programs in the country. Dr. Pancio translates the values that he learned while at the Mayo Clinic to care for his current patients.

Dr. Pancio received additional training in minimally invasive arthroscopic procedures, sports medicine, and joint replacement surgery while working as an affiliate physician with the US Ski Team at the Lake Tahoe Orthopedic Institute.

As a chief resident and fellow, he participated in the care of the Minnesota Twins, Minnesota Timberwolves, Minnesota Lynx, and the US Men’s Alpine Ski Team. Dr. Pancio prides himself on being a family man and is an avid outdoorsman. He enjoys skiing, golfing, cycling, fishing, and being with his family. He is a passionate fan of the Buffalo Bills and Buffalo Sabres.
